IELTS – International English Language Testing System

IELTS is an International standardized for English language proficiency for the non-native English speakers who wish to move overseas on terms of higher studies or migration. This test was formally managed and assisted by British Council, The IDP is solely responsible for conducting the IELTS Examination as of now. But the coaching for the IELTS is offered by experts in the industry, especially THE IMMACULATE Training & Overseas Education has been offering coaching since 2005. The IELTS exam requirement was established in the year 1989 for students and working professionals to move to foreign countries. It is a English language proficiency test accepted across the globe.

Types of IELTS 

  • Academic IELTS – candidates who wish to pursue their education abroad 
  • General IELTS – candidates who wish to migrate to an overseas country on various grounds 

Validity of the test is 24 months which is 2 yrs. 

Mode of examination 

There are two modes of examination which is offered to the student based on the individual the mode of exam can be chosen 

  • Paper based exam 
  • Computer based exam 

Score & grade range 

0 to 9 band increments 

  • Band 1 – Non user 
  • Band 2- Intermittent user 
  • Band 3- Extremely limited user
  • Band 4- limited user 
  • Band 5- Modest user 
  • Band 6- competent user 
  • Band 7- Good user 
  • Band 8 – Very good user 
  • Band 9 – Expert user 

Availability of the test 

IELTS test is offered 4 times a month and nearly 48 times a year

TEST RESULTS :

  • PAPER BASED : 11- 12  working days from the day the student attempts the exam
  • COMPUTER BASED : 5- 7  working days from the day the student attempts the exam
  • IELTS is widely accepted by over 10,000 organization’s for more than 140 countries
  • Which includes universities , schools , colleges and other immigration authorities .

EXAM FEES : RS – 17000 / exam will be conducted under British council & IDP
