PEARSON TEST OF ENGLISH (PTE). It is an English language test that tests the ability of your language to get admission in universities and for immigration. It is an integrated computer-based test and tests your Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The advantage of PTE is that the result is announced in two days.

ABOUT THE TEST

PTE Academic assesses listening, reading, speaking, and writing via the computer in a single 3-hour test session.

To complete a PTE Academic test, you will need to attend the exam at a secure Pearson test center. Our students are taught to use a computer and headset to listen to the conversation, read, and respond to questions.

The PTE has a three-hour test session, where there will be three main parts to the test: speaking and writing (together), listening, and reading. There are different question formats, which range from multiple choices to essay writing and interpreting information.

PTE Academic Tests assesses real-life situations, academic content, and therefore you will hear excerpts from lectures and view graphs and charts. As a test taker will hear a range of accents in the test, from British and American to non-native speakers, so you will be exposed to the type of accents you will encounter in everyday life.
