READING

40 questions will be given which has been divided into three sections.

Skills required: Good skimming ability, identify paraphrased statements.

LISTENING:

40 questions will be raised, where you will be given 30 minutes to listen to the audio for answering and 10 minutes to transfer the answers into the standard answer sheet.

  • Label the given picture.
  • Complete summary

Tips: Carefully focus and travel along with the keywords mentioned in the question.

And predict the type of answer required for a particular question.

Skills required: Good concentration, identify paraphrased statements, clear interpretation of keywords.

WRITING:

Task 1 (Minimum 150 words with 20 minutes time to complete)

  • Academic: Short Essay (Describing picture)
  • General: Letter writing

Task 2: Essay Writing (Minimum 250 words with 40 minutes time for narration)

Tips:

  • A clear description of the given content or the picture.
  • Must logically relate the ideas conveyed with good vocabulary and grammar.
  • Should have a variety of sentence structures like complex and compound.

SPEAKING

It has 3 sections, Introductory, cue card and discussion type of questions.

Duration: 15 to 20 minutes

Tips:

  • Should possess a strong presence of mind in relating to situations.
  • Proper pronunciation and good grammatical connection of ideas will fetch high scores.
