The GRE is also known as the Graduate Record Exam Test is a systematized test used to fetch admissions in various graduate schools or business graduate schools in various countries, especially in the United States. There are no specific eligibility criteria for taking the GRE Test. Candidate can apply for the test irrespective of their age and qualification. Moreover, the candidate has to undergo admission norm for individual institutes where he/she is applying.


GRE is of two formats. They are namely,

  • GRE General Test.
  • GRE Subject test.

The test syllabus will vary for both the formats. While the GRE General test examines the candidate’s verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing skills, the GRE Subject Test is focused on judging the candidate’s competence in specific fields.
