Who is in charge of OET?
Professor Tim McNamara designed the OET exam in the late 1980s, with the assistance of the Australian National Office for Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR), which was also the first conducting body of the OET exam. OET has gone through several research and development phases over the years, thanks to the University of Melbourne’s Language Testing Research Centre and Cambridge Assessment English.
