GRE –is a standardized test that is taken for admissions requirements for graduate schools in the US/Canada and few other countries, etc. Most students who wish to study abroad to do their master’s degree, MBA, or doctoral degree in law programs, take their GRE test prior to enrolling in different universities and business schools for their master’s programs.

The GRE is owned and administered by the Educational Testing System (ETS)

  • Analytical Writing – In section 1 there are (two tasks) time duration is 60 minutes
  • Verbal Reasoning – In section 2 there are 2 sections (40 questions) time duration is 60 minutes
  • Quantitative Reasoning – There are 2 sections (40 questions) time duration is 70 minutes

How many times can the GRE exam be taken?

The GRE exam can be taken once every 21 days up to 5 times within a rolling 12 months in a year.
The GRE test is offered year-round at Prometric test centers on a first come first serve basis.

GRE Test Validity – The GRE Test is valid for 5 years.

What is the GRE Mode of Exam?

GRE Test Pattern –Computer-based and Paper-based exams both are available, the test pattern is different for each.

Where can the GRE test be taken?

GRE test can be taken anywhere!
The GRE test is available in 160 countries and 1000 test centers.
The Computer-delivered test is available and can be taken throughout the year.
The Paper-Based test is available in certain countries and can be taken for 3 months October, November, and February. However, the student can check with the required test centers before booking or registering for the exam.
